In this program, you will be introduced to the surveying principles and techniques used in the construction of buildings, subdivisions, utilities, roadways, and other public and private developments.  You will learn how to use Global Positioning and Geographic Information systems and surveying instruments. The program prepares you to assist registered surveyors and civil engineers, and for the certification exams administered by the National Society of Professional Surveyors and the Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors.
