Health and Wellness Promotion

Getting Every Body on Board

Motivating others to commit to be fit

Good nutrition. Regular exercise. Stress management. These are a few of the major elements of a healthy life and a large part of what you’ll learn to coach others toward in our program.

There’s no magic tonic for a healthier life. We all have to work at it every day, but that doesn’t mean a personable wellness coach can’t make it an enjoyable and lifetime journey.

Health and Wellness Promotion

Let our faculty of fitness experts share from their own experiences, motivating others to lead healthier lives, including what works and what doesn’t.

From them, you’ll learn about:

  • Developing healthy diets for others
  • Physiological & psychological factors in weight management
  • Chronic disease
  • Strength training
  • Cardiovascular exercises
  • Responses to stress/coping techniques
  • And, much more!

Excited to help others commit to be fit?

We are, too! Contact one of our program advisors to learn more: Professor Tina Allor, or Professor Linda Jenuwine.
