Macomb Community College will host a Dual Enrollment Information Session on March 25, 6:30 – 8 p.m., at the Lorenzo Cultural Center on the college’s Center Campus.

Macomb is one of 15 institutions nationwide to recertify its Leader College status for 2026. Leader Colleges retain the designation for a three-year term before undergoing reassessment.

Three candidates were referred to the Macomb Community College Board of Trustees to interview for the college's presidency: Elizabeth (Libby) Argiri, MBA, CPA, executive vice president, Macomb Community College; Lori M. Gonko, Ed.D., interim president, Henry Ford College; and Charles W. Lepper, Ph.D., former president, Grand Rapids Community College.

At its regular monthly meeting on Feb. 18, the Macomb Community College Board of Trustees approved extending tuition rates from the past two years through the upcoming academic year, Fall 2026 through Spring/Summer 2027.

Students in Macomb Community College’s Media and Communications Arts program (MACA) put their skills to work in a logo competition for the 2026 Shorewood Kiwanis Harper Charity Cruise, which will take place on Harper Avenue in St. Clair Shores on Aug. 26.
