The Macomb Community College Foundation will present Comedy and Cocktails, an annual benefit for the college’s arts and cultural programs, Friday, Oct. 18, at the Lorenzo Cultural Center and Macomb Center for the Performing Arts.

“Abuelita Otomi” depicts a grandmother and is one of three acrylic paintings being exhibited by artist Arturo Morales Morano that react to black light.

The Lorenzo Cultural Center examines Michigan’s pivotal role from 1945 to 1969, an intense period of imaginative advances, in Creative Michigan: Making the Mitten Modern.
