Macomb Community College to hold open house about transfer opportunities at college’s University Center

Attendees can discover next steps in completing a bachelor’s degree at 11 partner colleges in the state

Macomb Community College is holding a transfer open house on Oct. 6, 4:30-7:00 p.m., at the Macomb University Center, located on the college’s Center Campus in Clinton Township. Current and prospective students will be able to meet with partner institutions about their transfer agreements with Macomb and learn how to enroll concurrently at Macomb and a four-year institution.

Counselors and advisors will also be available to answer Macomb-specific questions and print unofficial transcripts before students connect with four-year representatives from:

• Central Michigan University
• Ferris State University
• Kettering University
• Madonna University
• Michigan State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine
• Northwood University
• Oakland University
• Rochester Christian University
• University of Detroit Mercy
• Walsh College
• Wayne State University

Additionally, two presentations will highlight how to work toward earning a bachelor’s degree at Macomb.  

Fast Track Your Future!, 5:30-6 p.m., will cover how to take college classes for credit while still attending high school.

Ready, Set, College!, 6:15-6:45 p.m., will highlight the process and resources available to get started at Macomb.

Attendees will also have the chance to enter a drawing for a MacBook.
