Macomb Community College student, Ariana Dockham, has been named to the 2026 Coca-Cola Academic Team, an honor recognizing high-achieving community college students across the nation for outstanding academic performance, leadership and engagement in community service.

Gonko has 25 years of community college experience and will assume the duties of the presidency of Macomb on July 1, 2026.

Macomb Community College will host a Dual Enrollment Information Session on March 25, 6:30 – 8 p.m., at the Lorenzo Cultural Center on the college’s Center Campus.

Macomb is one of 15 institutions nationwide to recertify its Leader College status for 2026. Leader Colleges retain the designation for a three-year term before undergoing reassessment.
