Macomb Community College will hold an information session Monday, Oct. 28, 6 p.m. for the winter semester of the Michigan Apprenticeship Program Plus (MAP+), a pre-apprenticeship initiative designed to give students the basic skills needed to enter a construction or manufacturing apprenticeship or a work-based learning career.

Macomb Community College unveiled its first-ever logo to represent the Monarchs, since the name was coined for the college's athletic teams in 1967. The college currently has nine athletic teams and more than 100 student-athletes.
