Beatrice Salazar started Macomb unsure of her future. But after two years at the college, she discovered a love for learning, a passion for business and a renewed belief in her own potential. Beatrice attended online high school due to the pandemic. Shortly before graduating in 2022, her mom encouraged her to enroll at Macomb. This wasn’t a random choice as Beatrice had been to Macomb before, having participated in performance camps and workshops as a child.
