WHEREAS, the parties desire to enter into this agreement to set forth the terms and conditions that will help eligible participating students continue their education toward the appropriate certificate and/or associate degree program within the Engineering and Advanced Technology Department.
It is agreed that students who present the certification(s) and/or license(s) listed below and who meet the following requirements will receive credit toward the appropriate certificate and/or associate degree program within the Engineering and Advanced Technology Department at Macomb Community College. Additional requirements students must meet may be listed for each certification or license in the first column under “Certification or License Title.” These credits may not extend to transferring institutions.
- The student must possess a valid/current certification from those listed in the table below.
- The student must be enrolled at Macomb Community College in an appropriate certificate and/or associate degree program within the Engineering and Advanced Technology Department.
- Applicants must meet all College admission requirements and be a current student in good standing.
- The student must attach a copy of the certification and/or license when submitting the “Credit for Prior Learning Industry-Issued Certifications or Licenses Request” form:

Regular tuition and fees for credit granted under the agreement will be waived. It should be noted, however, that the student will still need to complete the required amount of credits for graduation.
