The Lorenzo Cultural Center, located on Macomb Community College’s Center Campus, will present Dinosaurs Among Us Aug. 4 – Sept. 13, a free program highlighting the unbroken line between the dinosaurs that dominated the planet for about 170 million years and modern birds.

Thanks to a generous gift from the family of the late Ronald J. Dichtel, founder of Concord Tool and Manufacturing, Macomb Community College has established a new scholarship to support students pursuing careers in skilled trades and advanced manufacturing. In honor of the 60th anniversary of the company’s founding, the Dichtel family provided an initial $20,000 gift to establish the Ronald J. Dichtel Scholarship to support students in skilled trades and advanced manufacturing.
