When the Shelby Township Fire Department needed a new banner for their upcoming open house, they called Macomb Community College’s media and communications arts program. Professors Mary Bush and Kris Mellebrand coordinated a contest for their students to see which student could develop the most eye-catching and effective design. Macomb Community College student Jenna Zelinski, of Macomb, won the contest and was awarded dinner with Shelby Township first responders for her compelling design.
