Last chance for tickets to Friday’s Comedy & Cocktails fundraising event at Macomb Community College

Features hands-on manufacturing/ technology experiences and concept cars, as well as silent auction, dinner and private performance by The Second City

There’s still time to purchase tickets for this Friday’s (Oct. 21) Comedy & Cocktails fundraising experience to support the college’s engineering and advanced technology programs.  Presented by First State Bank, the unique event will feature hands-on experiences related to Macomb’s engineering and advanced technology curriculum, as well as dinner and a private performance by The Second City touring company.  It is being held at the college’s Sports & Expo Center, South Campus, 14500 E. 12 Mile Road, Warren.

Comedy & Cocktails tickets are $150 per person and can be purchased online at Tables of 10 can be purchased at a 10 percent discount. For more information, call the Macomb Community College Foundation at 586.445.7302.

On Friday, Comedy & Cocktails will begin at 5:30 p.m.  with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, silent auction and mini auto show featuring concepts cars courtesy of FCA, Ford and General Motors.  In addition, attendees will have hands-on opportunities to engage in manufacturing, engineering, automotive design, welding, 3D printing and robotics experiences.  From 7 - 10 p.m., attendees will be treated to dinner and a private show by The Second City touring company.
