Macomb Community College hosts Open House on March 8 showcasing media & communication arts program

The media & communication arts (MACA) program at Macomb Community College is offering tours of its labs and classrooms to prospective students, parents and high school counselors at its open house on Tuesday, March 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. in R Building on its South Campus in Warren. Macomb faculty, alumni and students will be available to answer questions and facilitate hands-on activities, many of which were designed by current Macomb MACA students.

Macomb’s MACA programs include instruction in photography, digital illustration, 3-D animation, design and layout, and digital video. 

“We want to make prospective students and their parents aware of the many solid career opportunities available in these fields, along with the fact that Macomb offers the programs and training needed to be successful in these fields,” said Shaun Sarcona, Macomb’s MACA program coordinator. “We work with each student to find out what they want to do and work with them to achieve their career goals.”
