Macomb University Center holds open house

The University Center at Macomb Community College will hold an open house on Thursday, October 16, from 4:30 to 7 p.m., to help prospective students learn about the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs available through 12 partner institutions that provide 80 degree options.

Representatives from Central Michigan University, Ferris State University, Madonna University, Michigan State University, Northern Michigan University, Northwood University, Oakland University, Rochester College, University of Detroit Mercy, Walsh College, Wayne State University and Western Michigan University will be on hand to discuss their degree programs offered at the Macomb University Center.

Macomb academic counselors and advisors will also be available to discuss transferring to a University Center partner.  In addition, a workshop explaining the Michigan Transfer Agreement, which is designed to facilitate the transfer of general education requirements from one institution to another, will be held at 5 p.m., and a financial aid workshop will be offered at 6 p.m.
