Environmental Horticulture Certificate Program

A Continuing Education Program

The secret of improved plant breeding, apart from scientific knowledge, is love.
- Luther Burbank, Botanist, Horticulturalist and Agricultural Pioneer

What is Environmental Horticulture?

Environmental Horticulture is both an art and an applied science.  It involves the breeding, growing, planting and maintenance of plant life and the combining and arranging of the same to create a beautiful environment.  A branch of agriculture, Horticulture is focused on enhancing the human and natural environments.
