Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program

The accuracy of the (sonographic) exam is almost exclusively dependent on the skill and experience of the sonographer. - Gordon Parhar, Manager of Toshiba American Medical Systems, Inc.

What is Diagnostic Medical Sonography?

Diagnostic Medical Sonography (medical ultrasound) uses high frequency sound waves to produce images from inside a patient’s body. Trained sonographers administer these tests as prescribed by physicians to aid in the diagnosis and assessment of disease and medical conditions, and to monitor fetal development.
