About seven years ago, Vita Maria Lorenzano (formerly Loduca) was baking cakes out of her parents’ basement, juggling coursework, family life and a list of custom orders. Today, she’s living the next chapter of her story, one with pink-and-cream walls, the scent of fresh cookies and a permanent storefront sign that reads Vita’s Cakery.
