Designation recognizes efforts to prepare students to be engaged in the political process

Macomb Community College has been designated as a Voter Friendly Campus. An initiative led by national nonpartisan organizations Campus Vote Project and NASPA – Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, the designation recognizes the college’s efforts to help students overcome barriers to participating in the democratic process, and encouraging them to register and to vote in upcoming elections.

Macomb is one of 15 colleges and universities in Michigan to achieve the designation and among a select group of 123 campuses from around the country. The designation is valid through December 2020.
