Land Surveying Technology - Office Technician

In this program, you will be introduced to the surveying principles and techniques used in the construction of buildings, subdivisions, utilities, roadways, and other public and private developments. You will learn about profiles, grades, cross sections, highway layouts, bounds descriptions, and lot and block proportion, as well as how to use state-of-the-art surveying equipment. The program prepares you to assist registered surveyors and civil engineers and for the certification exams administered by the National Society of Professional Surveyors and the Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors.
