A Continuing Education Program

In this program, you will be introduced to the tools used in jewelry making, safety issues, basic jewelry metalsmithing and stone setting practices. You will learn about evaluating precious metals, the history and nature of gemstones, diamond mining, cutting and polishing gemstones, and how to transform a rough crystal into a faceted stone suitable for setting. Classes may be taken individually or to earn a certificate of completion.

Our Workforce and Continuing Education programs are designed to help you develop in your career, learn a new skill or explore a personal interest. These programs are open enrollment, which means you do not have to fill out on application.
