This program will show you how to start your own business or take a lead role in a company that depends on continuous innovation. You will gain a comprehensive knowledge of accounting, management, marketing and information technology procedures. You will learn how to develop a solid plan for launching your new business, including securing necessary financial resources.

Career Opportunities in Entrepreneurship – Innovation

With an Associate of Business Administration (ABA) Degree or Certificate or Skill Specific Certificate in Entrepreneurship – Innovation from Macomb, you will be qualified for positions that include business owner, general and operations manager, and manager.

Macomb’s Workforce and Continuing Education Department also offers certificate programs in business that may be earned in six months or less. These can provide you with a gateway into a business career and the option of earning a salary in a business-related position while you pursue further education, training and/or certification in entrepreneurship or business administration.

Transfer Pathways

The credits earned in Macomb’s Entrepreneurship – Innovation Program transfer to many colleges and universities in Michigan.
