Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics are lifesavers, responding to emergency medical situations that include sudden illness and injury accidents. Trained in emergency medical procedures, Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics assess illness or injuries, provide emergency treatment to stabilize and transport victims to hospitals.

The Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic Program at Macomb

In Macomb’s Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic Program, you will learn how to take over the care of victims of sudden illness or accident from first responders on the scene and obtain the skills and knowledge necessary to staff sophisticated Advance Life Support Units. The Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic Program prepares you to take the Michigan Department of Consumer and Industry EMT state licensing exam.

The Emergency Medical Services Paramedic program’s 2015 pass rate for the National Registry Examination was 81% and 2016 pass rate was 87%.
