Mad Science Fire and Ice Show
Two Shows: 12:30 and 2 pm

Guests at the Great Pumpkin Fest will be dazzled and entertained as they interact with our Mad Scientists! This spectacular show will thrill audiences with impressive science experiments. This event includes foggy dry ice storms and demonstrates how giant beach balls can float in the air. Volunteers from the audience can taste a special Mad Science ‘burp” portion. Everyone will be amazed by sizzling shivering scissors and special bubbly showers.

Visit these Discovery Stations at the Great Pumpkin Fest:

CAAT - will be hosting the Drone Zone and mini-robot cars to program and control!

Slippery Science Station – It’s Oooey!! It’s Gooey!! It’s Slimey!!! Children will learn all about the amazing properties of polymers while making their very own slime to take home.

Superball Station – Kids will learn about the science of chemical change and about polymers as they make their very own bouncing superball.

Bubbling Potions Station – Kids will get to take a Mad Science shower and learn about Dry Ice and all of the fun things it can do. We’ll explore the states of matter and learn about sublimation.

Electricity Station – Kids will learn about electricity and get to make their hair stand on end while playing with our electrifying equipment. Kids will observe an electromagnet to learn about the connection between magnetism and electricity. We’ll also build and test electric circuits for more fun and learning.

Police K9 Units - Come meet two K9 dog units from the Macomb Sheriff’s office and Metro Detroit Airport.
