Macomb Community College offers “boot camp” workshops on April 7 to help job fair attendees

In preparation for Macomb Community College’s annual spring job fair on April 19, the college’s Career Services Department will hold a Job Fair Boot Camp workshop on Thursday, April 7 from 2 to 3 p.m. at both its South and Center campuses. The workshop offers tips on job fair networking and ways to make favorable impressions with employers participating in the fair.

Registration is required and can be made by calling 586.445.7321 or emailing  The workshop on the college’s South Campus in Warren will be held in S Building, Room 147, and the Center Campus (Clinton Township) workshop will be held in H Building, Room 109. 

Macomb’s annual job fair, which is co-sponsored by the City of Warren, will feature more than 190 employers who are looking to hire interns as well as full- and part-time employees.  Companies planning to participate in the job fair represent a wide range of industry sectors, including automotive, engineering, health care, manufacturing, hospitality, accounting, telecommunications and financial services. The job fair is held at the college’s Sports & Expo Center, located on Macomb’s South Campus in Warren.
