Macomb’s Speech Communication Arts program is designed to give you both the confidence and skills necessary to communicate with others as a public relations practitioner, company spokesperson, broadcaster, advertising sales agent or marketing specialist. You will learn about the theories and practices related to the different forms of mass media, the role body language plays in interpersonal communication and how to relate to different audiences. You will also gain an understanding of and sensitivity to cultural differences and will improve your effectiveness in both speaking and listening.
