Paralegal

In Macomb’s Paralegal Program, you will be introduced to a paralegal’s ethical and professional responsibilities as a member of the legal services delivery team, as well as the purpose and function of discovery and legal pleadings. You will learn how to conduct legal research, prepare legal forms and documents, and conduct and summarize factual investigations, as you become familiar with family law, criminal law, real estate, bankruptcy, court procedures and corporations. Paralegals may not provide legal services directly to the public, except as permitted by law.
