
Media & Communication Arts - Photographic Technologies
In Macomb’s Photographic Technology Program, you will practice camera operations (digital and 35mm), exposure control, composition theory and image processing and printing using current software applications. You will be introduced to design and layout concepts, including perspective, composition and use of white space. You will also learn how to create illustrations using technical renderings, and will build a portfolio of your work that includes portraiture, composite images, timed exposures, display advertising, landscapes and cityscapes.
