A Continuing Education Program

In this program, you will be introduced to theoretical foundations in the body systems as you gain hands-on skill competency. You will learn about biomechanics, exercise physiology, fitness testing, equipment usage and health assessments. You will also explore the common ailments and physical conditions that affect older adults and how to design age-appropriate exercise programs. Training includes lecture and practical training, as well as an optional internship, and is provided through a partnership with World Instructor Training Schools.
