Student Life and Leadership is your resource for getting connected to Macomb's campus life. Get involved! Make the most out of your college experience!

ORGANIZATIONS. From Anime to Student Veterans to the Gay Straight Alliance to the Walking Dead Club—there's an organization for whatever special interest is YOUR special interest. In addition, there are organizations tied to many academic programs, such as the Legal Assistants Association and the Student Nurses Association.

PHI THETA KAPPA. As the national honor society for students attending two-year colleges, Phi Theta Kappa combines scholarship, leadership and service and fellowship activities to provide a comprehensive and rewarding learning experience for its members.

EVENTS. Join us for some exciting extracurricular activities! We have something for everyone, from speakers and do-it-yourself workshops, to book series and social activities between classes.

LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES. We offer many leadership opportunities. The monthly Leadership Workshop Series provides training in basic leadership qualities and styles, team building, conflict resolution techniques, and diversity and consensus.

VOLUNTEERING. Get connected and help give back to the community by participating in one of our monthly events. We’ve worked with Habitat for Humanity, visited senior citizen homes, and organized supplies at local food banks. Alternative Spring Break (ASB) offers students a variety of volunteer opportunities during this week-long event. We also collect food for the "Food for Thought" Pantry available to current students.

TRIPS. Chicago … Mackinac Island … Cedar Point … just a few of the recent daytrips we've hosted. Hope you're on board for the next one!

INTRAMURAL SPORTS AND RECREATION. Get active by joining our "Team Macomb” events. Students, faculty and staff come together and participate in community activities ranging from group bike rides to competitive 5Ks!

We're here to add to your student experience by offering diverse programs and opportunities that build community, develop leadership skills and create global awareness. Oh, and did we mention FUN?
