International Students: Welcome to Macomb!
We are here to help you get the most out of your college education. If you are an International Student coming to this country to obtain a bachelor's degree, you can take your first two years of courses at Macomb and then transfer to a four-year college or university. We offer more than 200 associate degree programs to choose from, as well as English courses for non-native speakers that can help you improve your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
Selective Admission Programs
If you are interested in earning an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant, Respiratory Therapy, Surgical Technology or Veterinary Technician, you must apply through Selective Admission. Please contact our Special Services office in the Counseling and Academic Advising office for information. (586.445.7420).

F-1 Visa Students:
If you want to apply for an F-1 student visa to attend Macomb or if you are already an F-1 student and want to transfer to Macomb, select the appropriate link below that matches your student status type.

B-Visitor Visa Holders, WT/WB, and ESTA’s:
WT/WB passport stamps indicate that you may register for non-credit classes only and are ineligible to change your status in the United States. You must return to your home country to apply for an F-1visa.
ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) or Visa Waiver Program countries may register for non-credit classes only. Visa waivers must return to their home country to apply for an F-1 visa.
Other Visa Holders:
If you have any other visa besides F-1 or B, you may apply under standard admissions procedures and provide proof of status. The out-of-state tuition rate will apply unless you have one of the following visas: Refugee, Asylum, A,E, G or I.
