What is a Certified Nursing Assistant?

Certified Nursing Assistants work in hospitals, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, and private homes, making life better for the ill and the elderly. Under the direction of a registered nurse, Certified Nursing Assistants monitor patients’ vitals (i.e. pulse and blood pressure), assist in daily living activities and ensure that those in their care are safe and comfortable.
