Competing in college sports is only a dream for some high school athletes. At Macomb Community College, competing becomes a reality.
Macomb has had hundreds of athletes qualify for individual honors such as All-American, All-Region, All-State, and All-Conference titles. Macomb is proud to have produced athletes who have achieved 6 National Championships, 42 Regional titles, and 65 MCCAA and Conference titles in a variety of sports.
Our goal is to provide educational and life-enriching experiences to our student athletes by instilling the drive towards commitment, excellence, dedication and perseverance both on and off the playing field.
The Monarchs are members in good standing with the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) and NJCAA Region XII. These three affiliations dictate intercollegiate athletics in regards to game scheduling, in season and post season tournament sites to athletic eligibility and graduation standards.
The Monarchs pride themselves in maintaining the mission and philosophy statements of all three affiliations.
