A Convenient Testing Location
The Learning Center at Macomb's South Campus offers a variety of testing services to the community, including ACT and proctoring exams for other colleges and universities. The Learning Center is located in the library - J Building, South Campus.
ACT (College Readiness Assessment)
Macomb is a national ACT test center, administering the ACT exam at South Campus only on established ACT test dates. To register or receive additional information, contact ACT.
Law School Admission Test (LSAT)
The LSAT is administered at Macomb’s South Campus only on established LSAT test dates in February, June, October, and December. There are no walk-in tests available. To register or receive additional information, contact LSAT.
The Learning Center at Macomb’s South Campus provides test proctoring services for non-Macomb students, charging a $25 fee for each examination (subject to change). Proctored exams can be in paper/pencil or computer-generated. Electronic equipment (cell phones, laptops, tablets, etc.) are not allowed in the testing room. A locker will be provided to store personal items. All testing regulations from the outside institution also apply.
Arrangements for proctored examinations must be made in advance and scheduled during the Learning Centers’ regular hours of operation. Please allow enough time when you schedule for the proctored exam to be returned by the deadline.
As part of the Michigan Community College Virtual Learning Collaborative (MCCVLC)*, Macomb does not charge a proctor fee for exams related to MCCVLC classes as long as students provide appropriate confirmation that Macomb was selected as their “home school.”
*MCCVLC allows current Michigan community college students to take online courses from other member colleges while still receiving support services at a convenient “home” college, and maintaining their academic record at the college from which they are seeking a degree or certificate (the degree-granting college).
Photo identification with signature (e.g. driver’s license, passport, military ID) is required for all tests administered by the Learning Centers.
