The Chrysler Foundation has awarded a $12,000 grant to the Macomb Community College Foundation for scholarships for students enrolled in Macomb's business, engineering, product development and information technology programs.

"The generosity of The Chrysler Foundation provides Macomb students with an opportunity to continue to pursue their educational goals that they may not have had otherwise," said Gayle Good, director, Macomb College Foundation. "The economy has put a severe financial strain on many who are working to earn college degrees. These funds could make a real difference in people's lives."

The Chrysler Foundation Scholarship awards are available for students enrolled at Macomb for the winter and fall 2008 semesters. Students must have a 3.0 grade point average, be in business, engineering, product development or information technology programs and meet the guidelines of the scholarship agreement.
