Take a break in London this spring

Release Date:
September 27, 2007

You don't have to be a college student to need a break this coming spring, and, if visiting the Tower of London or the British Museum sounds more interesting than lying on a beach, Macomb Community College has just the trip for you

For the past 22 years, Phil Barrons, Macomb humanities professor, has been leading a tour to his adopted city of London during Macomb's spring break. This year, the trip will be from March 7-15, and community residents as well as college students and staff are welcome to sign up for it.

The price per person (based on double occupancy) is $1,475 and includes round-trip airfare, bus transfers between the airport and hotel, seven-nights stay at a centrally located London hotel, a half-day guided sightseeing bus tour of London and a guided tour of another city such as Cambridge, Canterbury or Bath. A deposit of $295 reserves one place on the trip, which is limited to 50. The final payment is due on Feb. 1, 2008. Payments may be made to the Cashier's Office G-302, Macomb Community College, 14500 E. 12 Mile Road, Warren, MI 48088. For more information, contact Barrons at 586.445.7354 or 586.445.7018.
