Macomb College hosts open house at South Campus on April 16

An open house for prospective Macomb Community College students will be held at the college's South Campus on Wednesday, April 16, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Information will be available at the open house on Macomb's transfer, business, education, engineering and advanced technology, health and human services, information technology, skilled trades and apprenticeships, and skills first training programs. Attendees will also have the opportunity to talk with faculty and counselors, participate in free workshops and take a guided tour of automotive technology, welding, advanced manufacturing/CNC and electronics classrooms. There will also be instant college admission and the chance to win a $250 scholarship.

Workshops include Starting at Macomb, Finding the Career for You, Adult Returning to Learning, Financial Aid Workshop, College Learning Skills and Information Technology - IT's Where the Jobs Are. The workshops, which last 30 to 45 minutes, will be held twice each during the open house.
