Prospective college students and their families are invited to learn more about the bachelor’s degree completion and master’s degree opportunities available at Macomb Community College’s University Center at an open house on Sunday, April 13, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Representatives from Central Michigan University, Ferris State University, Lawrence Technological University, Oakland University, Rochester College, the University of Detroit Mercy, Walsh College and Wayne State University will be available to answer questions about the programs offered at the Macomb University Center by their respective schools.
The open house will also feature free, 25-minute informational workshops led by staff from Macomb University Center partners, which will include an opportunity to ask questions:
Pathways to Your Future, 1 p.m., providing information on in-demand careers, including skill and educational requirements, and salary ranges
Transferring Made Easy, 1:30 p.m., offering tips on navigating a seamless transfer
I Know What I Want – How Do I Pay for It? 2 p.m., with information to ease the fear of applying for financial aid and a checklist of steps and options

Since pioneering the now nationally replicated university center concept in 1991, more than 5,000 students annually attend the Macomb University Center to complete bachelor’s degrees and earn master’s degrees.
