Macomb Area College Fair Offers One-stop Shopping

Nearly 70 colleges and universities will be at the All-Area College Fair sponsored by Macomb Community College on Wednesday, Oct. 22, from 2-4 p.m. and 5:30-8 p.m. at the Sports & Expo Center on Macomb Community College's South Campus, 12 Mile and Hayes roads in Warren.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from the nearly 70 colleges and universities for information on their admission requirements, campus life and academic programs.

Two workshops will also be presented at the College Fair. Macomb's Financial Aid Department will present a financial aid workshop at 6 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. The workshop will offer tips on how and when to apply for financial aid, searching for scholarships and using the Michigan Promise Award. A “Transferring Made Easy” workshop will be held at 6:30 p.m. for those planning to transfer from a community college to a four-year university.
