PROCTORED EXAMINATIONS

Macomb Community College’s Learning Centers will provide test proctoring services for non-Macomb students. Macomb currently charges a $25 fee for each examination (this may be subject to change). Proctored exams can be paper/pencil, or computer delivery format.

Arrangements for proctored examinations must be made in advance, government photo identification is required. All testing regulations from the outside institution, as well as Macomb’s proctored exams will be adhered to.

Appointments for test administration will be scheduled within the Learning Centers scheduled hours of operation. Please schedule within an appropriate timeframe to allow the proctored exam to be returned by the test deadline.

MCCVLC

Macomb Community College is also part of the Michigan Community College Virtual Learning Collaborative (MCCVLC). This is a virtual learning collaborative among Michigan’s community colleges.

This collaborative is designed to allow current Michigan community college students to take online courses from other member colleges while still receiving support services at a convenient “home” college, and maintaining their academic record at the college from which they are seeking a degree or certificate (the degree-granting” college).

There is no proctor fee charged to students for classes in which they are enrolled as MCCVLC students. It is the responsibility of the student to provide Macomb Community College with appropriate confirmation that Macomb was selected as the “home school” option.  All appointments for test administration must be scheduled in advance. Government photo identification is required at the time of the test.
