ASSOCIATE'S DEGREES, PROGRAMS & CERTIFICATES

 

General Requirements for:

  • Associate of Arts,
  • Associate of Science,
  • Associate of Applied Science,
  • Associate of Baccalaureate Studies, and
  • Associate of Business Administration Degrees
    • Minimum of 62 semester hours of credit
    • Minimum grade point average of 2.0
    • Minimum of 15 semester hours of credit earned at Macomb
    • Completion of required Arts and Sciences courses.
    • For the Associate of Applied Science, Associate of Science, Associate of Baccalaureate Studies, and the Associate of Business Administration degrees, completion of required career courses as specified in individual program descriptions.
    • For the Associate of Baccalaureate Studies degree, a grade point average higher than 2.0 may be required, as specified in the Articulate Transfer Plan.

    Uniform Requirements 

    Second Associate's Degree

    A second associate's degree may be awarded if, in addition to the general requirements for all associate's degrees, (1) all group and core requirements for the second degree are met, and (2) the student has earned a minimum of 77 credit hours. A minimum of 15 semester hours of credit earned at Macomb is required for each additional degree awarded by Macomb.

    Program Completion: Two Year/Seven Year Rule
