POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

 

Macomb Community College is a member of the National College Testing Association and follows the national standards for college testing. 

Students should adhere to the following procedures:

  • A government issued photo ID must be presented each time a test is administered.
  • Test guidelines and deadlines are established by faculty or testing providers and will be strictly enforced.
  • All possessions will be put into lockers, including cell phones pagers, and other electronic devices.
  • Prior to entering the testing room, please attend to all personal matters such as phone calls, eating, and using the restrooms. Please do not bring drinks or food into the testing area.
  • Tests that are timed, must be started so there is adequate time to finish before the close of day.
  • No tests will be started within the last 60 minutes before the posted closing times.
  • Students caught cheating will have to surrender all materials and the test will be stopped.
  • Cheating or other testing irregularities will be reported to faculty and/or  test administrators or other appropriate college personnel.
  • All Macomb procedures for testing protocol must be followed. 
  • Inappropriate behavior is not acceptable and the testee will be asked to leave the area if they do not respond to staff directions and requests.
