Chemistry Placement Exams are available for students who have expertise in Chemistry. The exams are available on a walk-in basis at Macomb Community College’s Learning Centers during regular Hours of Operation. Photo identification with signature (e.g. driver’s license, passport, military ID) is required for all tests administered by the Learning Center.

Note: Students who successfully complete the Chemistry Placement Exams will not receive college credit for that course. Individuals that have a chemistry background and would like to receive credit for their knowledge should consider taking the appropriate CLEP exam or submitting a Portfolio Credit for Prior Learning packet. A counselor or academic advisor can help you determine which option is the best for you.
