2009-10 PrivateScholarship
Scholarships are also available to students who plan to transfer to a Michigan college or university after they complete their Macomb Community College enrollment. Transfer scholarships are also available from Michigan colleges and universities for community college transfer students.
There are also scholarships offered through the state of Michigan.
Boren Scholarships for Study Abroad
The application process for the Boren Scholarships for Undergraduate Students is now open. Students who want to participate in a program abroad may apply for the scholarships. Information regarding the scholarship and application requirements can be obtained at Boren awards. The campus representative for Macomb Community College is Judy Florian, Director of Financial Aid. The deadline for submission of all application materials is December 15, 2009.
Jack Kent Cooke Transfer Scholarship
Applications are now being accepted for the Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship Program. This Foundation provides over $30,000 per year to community college students to help them earn a four-year degree. The student must be planning to transfer in the fall, 2010 semester.
Macomb Community College can nominate up to two students for this scholarship for the 2010-11 year. Students can go to www.jkcf.org for information on the application process and review the eligibility requirements. The deadline to submit information to the Macomb Community College faculty representative (Judy Florian, Director of Financial Aid) is December 15, 2009.
