Apply for Your Degree

A Certificate and Degree Application Form should be submitted to Enrollment Services as soon as possible during the semester in which the certificate or degree will be earned.

Associate's degree graduates wanting their name to appear in the Commencement Program must apply by the dates below. However, applications for graduation are accepted through the last day of the term.

Term Date:
Fall Term - November 1
Winter Term - March 15
Spring/Summer Term - Last day of Semester/Trimester

Official degrees and certificates will be mailed approximately eight weeks after the end of the semester in which the requirements were completed. Degree and certificate requirements are listed in the college Catalog.

Second Associate's Degree

A second associate's degree may be awarded if, in addition to the general requirements for all associate's degrees, (1) all group and core requirements for the second degree are met, and (2) the student has earned a minimum 77 credit hours. A minimum of 15 semester hours of credit earned at Macomb is required for each degree awarded by Macomb.

Commencement Ceremonies

Commencement ceremonies for graduates of both campuses are held in May and December of each year.
