• A hard drive with 100 MB of available storage space (some courses may require more).
• A CD-ROM drive and a USB flash drive.
• A Modem (56K) minimum and Internet Service
• Provider (examples: Comcast, Wideopenwest)
• Broadband service recommended
• A monitor and printer 

Operating System:

• Windows-based PC,  Windows XP or higher OR
• Macintosh System OSX or higher with similar hardware specifications to those  listed above.

Web Browser:

• Internet Explorer 6.0 OR 
• Mozilla Firefox 2.0 or higher
  *beta version is not supported.

Recommended Software:

• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
• Adobe Acrobat
• Java 5.0 or higher.
• Installed Anti-virus (examples: Norton Antivirus, AVG Antivirus)
• Anti-adware software (examples: Ad-Aware, Spybot - Search & Destroy).
• Your instructor might require special software for your class.
