CAREER ACADEMIES

Career Academies, currently offered during the summer, include week-long learning programs designed to help high school students, like you, form a realistic view of specific career choices.

During the week-long career academies, students participate in actual activities associated with the different careers.  Parents and family members are invited to a session held at the end of the week to review what the teens learned and what to expect if their child decides to pursue that particular career.

To participate in any of the academies, students must be at least 15 years old and have a 2.0 grade point average.  Career academies being offered during the summer include, the Law Enforcement Academy, Robotics Academy, Fire Service Academy, Media/Communication Arts Academy, Veterinary Technician Academy, Culinary Arts, and Biotechnology.
