CAREER PATHWAYS

Making the connection between school and work can be challenging.  That’s why Macomb Community College’s Secondary School Outreach is dedicated to ensuring that students, parents, and educators have access to current information and resources when it comes to researching careers and the labor market.

Career Pathways are six broad groupings of careers that share similar characteristics and whose employment requirements call for many common interests, strengths and competencies.  Career Clusters are sub categories of each of the Career Pathways. Career awareness is critical for a smooth transition from high school to college, and from college to the world of work, so we invite you to get a head start on your research and planning by taking advantage of the resources available to you through out website.
