This program is designed to impart the skills, knowledge, and understanding necessary to be successful in, and to increase the professionalization of the fire protection field.

This program develops technical competency and prepares the student for managerial and leadership positions in municipal, industrial, and business areas of fire protection, suppression, and prevention.

Macomb's Fire Science courses can now be taken ONLINE! To participate students must enroll at Macomb and complete an online orientation that takes about 45 minutes. For more information, contact Fire Science Program Coordinator Ken Staelgraeve at staelgraevek@macomb.edu.
