General Description
The Comprehensive Automotive Training (CAT) program is a one-year concentrated program providing related and expanded performance based training. Students successfully completing CAT will have the technical skills and expanded lab experience to accurately diagnose, repair, and maintain modern automotive systems and their components.
Program Scheduling
A CAT program begins each fall and runs for one year, including a Fall, Winter, and Summer semester. The classes are held Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Cost
All tuition, fees, and textbook costs are the responsibility of the student. The approxiamate cost of tuition and course fees for the CAT program for Macomb County students is as follows: Fall Semester - $1900, Winter semester - $1900, Summer Semester - $1400. For out-of-county residents: Fall Semester - $2700, Winter Semester - $2700, Summer Semester - $1900. *These approxiamate costs do not include textbooks.
