Wilson, Leong Win At Toledo
This past weekend, the Monarchs competed at the University of Toledo, in the 24th Annual Toledo Invitational.
Sophomore Joel Leong won the hammer throw with a throw of 51.92 meters. The throw was over two meters further than the nearest competitors.
Freshman Kyle Wilson won the 400 meter run with a new personal best time of 48.54. Wilson's closest competion was Lesley Hanna from Detroit Mercy, who finished with a time of 48.79.
Finally, the 4x400 Relay Team of Mike Awada, Koby Glenn, Dennis Jackson and Kyle Wilson took third place with a season best effort of 42.87.

Leong Breaks School Record At Hillsdale
This past weekend, the Monarchs competed at Hillsdale College, in the 42nd Annual "GINA" Relays. With over fifty teams in attendance, several Monarchs had impressive showings.
Sophomore Joel Leong broke the Macomb Community College record in the men’s discus with a throw of 44.92 meters, placing him in eighth place overall.
Sophomore Marion Body ran a personal best time of 1:54.69 in the 800 meter run, qualifying him for outdoor Nationals.
Finally, freshman Kyle Wilson also hit a personal best time in the men’s 400 meter run with a time of 48.81, giving him fourth place at the meet.
